Big Zulu’s daughter set to drop her first EP
Music clearly runs in the family for Big Zulu as his eldest daughter, Siphesihle Nene, gears up to release her very first EP at just 15 years old.
The Imali Eningi hitmaker couldn’t hide his excitement while speaking about his daughter’s journey into music.
He revealed that Siphesihle has been eager to record for a long time, constantly singing for him at home and asking for a chance to prove herself.
“For the longest time, she has been singing for me and begging me to record her. She’s talented and a good singer. Trust me, every time she surprises me with the way she sings at her age,” Big Zulu said.
The proud father explained that the project was originally meant to be Siphesihle’s solo EP, but he decided to step in to give her proper guidance as she enters the entertainment industry.
“As I have said, this was supposed to be her own EP; however, I saw an opportunity for me to give her much-needed guidance with the things in the entertainment industry,” he added.
According to Big Zulu, Siphesihle’s love for both music and dance inspired the sound of the project, which also embraces the 3 Step genre.
He described her as a natural talent who constantly amazes him.
“What I have heard when she sings, I know this is what people need to hear because she is very talented,” he said.
The joint EP from Big Zulu and Siphesihle is scheduled for release on Friday, 26 September 2025.
