Khuzani is off the market
Maskandi star Khuzani Mpungose is officially a married man.
Taking to social media on Thursday, the musician shared elegant photos of himself and his new wife, dressed beautifully for their ceremony, he in a sharp suit and her in a classic white wedding dress.
The post drew an outpouring of congratulatory messages from celebrities and fans alike.
The wedding comes as no surprise to his supporters.
Months ago, Khuzani revealed that he would be walking down the aisle in December, keeping true to that promise.
At the time, the 35-year-old Blue Nation leader confirmed that he would be marrying the woman he has been with for 10 years.
Speaking to Sunday World then, he said: “It’s true. I am getting married to my first wife, and I plan to marry more than one wife. At this point, I cannot share how many wives I want.”
Khuzani had also shared that the wedding would take place in his hometown of Nkandla; a nod to his roots as a member of the Mpungose royal family.
The celebration was expected to blend traditional Zulu ceremonies like umembeso and umkhehlo with Maskandi flair, alongside a star-studded guest list featuring amakhosi, fellow musicians and loyal Blue Nation supporters.
Now, with the first official photos out, fans are celebrating the long-awaited union.
