SA rapper, Ma-E (MaEzeeDoesIt) Ezee “Ma-E” Hanabe speaks on a claim dished out by a social media user, that he is the “oldest upcoming artist in South Africa”.
The Soweto born rapper didn’t find this funny, rather it’s trolling.
“Ma-E has to be the oldest upcoming artist in sa bruh,” Twitter user said.
Responding to the claim, Ma-E drops receipt of all the wins he’s had since he’s been in the industry, in other to ghost out the term, “upcoming”, used by the tweep.
“It must be nice to be an oldest come up artist with 5 SAMAs, 4 metros, 3 ChannelOs, 1 sound city awards, BET Awards nomination and over 10 million views on youtube. Something you might not see in your family lifetime! Hope u good with what you do! God of the west might Bless U,” the rapper said.

On Tuesday, Ma-E praised K.O for having an amazing comeback, and also congratulated him over the SAMA Best Collaboration award win.
I’m so happy for my brother @MrCashtime💚 with all the adversities we are facing in this industry. People counting u out, telling u hiphop is a “young man sports” blah blah stereo types all over colonized social media timelines. Congratulations Skhandisa🔥💐 Modimo Asisematla🙏🏿🙏🏿
