Cassper Nyovest seeks radio validation for “AMN” album

Cassper Nyovest expressed desire to see his songs top SA radio monitor chart.

The rapper seem to be compromising his decision, as he has always emphasized on never paying payola nor being manipulative to get his songs played in radio stations.

“If any of my songs ever reach number 1 on any station, i celebrate knowing that i don’t pay payola!!!!! It’s just good music!!!! Shout out to everyone who is always supporting the art. Much appreciated,” he tweeted in July 2020.

In fact, he was condemned the chart, believing it doesn’t validate his songs.

However, a day before the release of his song, Bonginkosi ft Zola 7, off the AMN album, Mufasa says he wouldn’t mind if the song tops radio stations’ charts.

“I’m gonna get my first radio number one with this album!!!! New single titled Bonginkosi drops tomorrow featuring the legendary Zola 7!!!”

A Twitter user dragged him for being hypocritical about airplay.

“I thought You never really needed any radio spins or should I say radio validation for your SINGLES or your #AMNALBUM for that matter,Or? Anyways I am looking forward to listening to that album of Yours nonetheless!” Tweep said.

Responding to that Cassper said: “Never needed it but I want it this time around! It’s just something I would love to do and Bonginkosi might be that song!!! Special song!!! I pray and hope it happens.”
