The 15 Best SA Songs of the Month (January) 2021

South African artists are at the top of their game again for 2021. They keep showing their fans how much they mean to them and keep delivering the vibes to keep the year going.

A lot of projects have been released from them at the beginning of the year. Artists like Blaklez, A-Reece, Black Coffee, Oskido, and a few more made their appearance so early and massive this year.

Filtering to the best, here are the top 15  South African songs that caught our attention this month.

1. A-Reece – Strictly For My Bitch: We all know how much hype he generates upon releasing or announcing a project. A-Reece opened the year from his side as post-production. He drops this as a message strictly for his Bi*ches in the best way he could.

2. Blaklez – Turn The Lights Off ft. PdotO: Blaklez made the history of being the first artist to release a Hip Hop project as he opened the year for the industry with his album titled Don’t Mind The BS.

3. Junior De Rocka & Lady Du – Catalia ft. Mr JazziQ, Mellow & Sleazy: This track caught the attention of fans when they saw Junior De Rocka move from Hip Hop to Amapiano and pulled the stunt featuring Mr JazziQ and Lady Du.

4. DJ Obza – Idlozi Lami ft. Nkosazana & DJ FreeTz: DJ Obza gave us a fresh cut as he dropped Idlozi Lami featuring Nkosazana and DJ FreeTz. DJ Obza came so creatively this year handling Amapiano in a different style to us. This track has been on the fan’s playlist and has worth the hype.

5. Emtee – Ithemba: As one of the artists to look out for this year, Emtee showed us what to expect as he dropped Ithemba as a new single. He also appeared on Ami Faku’s track which is still getting fans’ love.

6. Rayvanny – Bebe ft. Nasty C: Rayvanny with Nasty C made a nice collaboration on Bebe. The song came off Sounds From Africa by Rayvanny which also featured Rowlene on a track titled Baby.

7. Malome Vector – Nobody: Ambitiouz Entertainment artist, Malome Vector doffed his hat on this track Nobody. This makes it his first appearance for the year after he rounded up things last year on Habana Loka by Kid Tini.

8. Ami Faku La’La Ngoxolo ft. Emtee: Ami Faku and Emtee made their fans give much kudos to them on their combo track. They dished out Hip Hop in a style that has not been heard before and they are so proud of their debut.

9. Black Coffee & Diplo Never Gonna Forget ft. Elderbrook: Legendary Black Coffee carefully delivered the track with every tone telling its story in rhymes. The song came off his forthcoming album titled Subconsciously which also features the American star, Usher, on LaLaLa.

10. Rouge – Gear Box ft. YoungstaCPT, Jackparow & Jay: Rouge played her role in the industry as she drops Gear Box with YoungstaCPT, Jackparow, and Jay. Just for her fans, Rouge dropped a double bang in this appearance as she also dropped a remix of her song titled Popular.

11. A-Reece – The 5 Year Plan ft. Wordz: A-Reece came surprisingly again with a new Hip Hop vibe titled The 5 Year Plan featuring Wordz. This track made it his second appearance for the year as one of the artists to watch out for in 2021.

12. King Monada – Wa Ngobatxa ft. Jen Jen & Mack Eaze: King Monada aimed for more trophies this year as he brings a fresh new jam with Mack Eaze and Jen Jen titled Wa Ngobatxa.

13. Prince Kaybee – Yehla Moya ft. Thalitha: Prince Kaybee showed the industry how supportive he is to the growth and development of the music industry as he starts the first season of his Project Hope.

14. TNS – Competition: TNS keeps launching the weekend with a new track. He gave Competition and caught the attention of his fans with that.

15. The Big Hash – Peace of Mind: The Big Hash welcomed his fans into something big as he releases his first track for the year titled Peace Of Mind. He made it his single after being a while he released a track to his fans.

The Big Hash made his last appearance on High School where he featured Kwesta on the Hip Hop joint.

This makes it few of the hit songs we have been blessed with this January. More tracks to expect for February are Emzet – Harambe featuring Syper & AB Crazy, DJ Cleo – Gcina Impilo Yam featuring Bucy Radebe.
