AKA speaks about surviving for the past months after being diagnosed wit clinical depression.
The rapper took to Instagram stories to reveal how he was placed on medicine to help get better, but later stayed off it, as the drug made him feel nothing.
“Fvck it… I need to let this be known. Especially for many people out there fighting everyday. I was diagnosed with clinical depression many months ago. I was put on meds. Couldn’t handle them, they made me feel like I couldn’t feel anything, so, I got off them. Plus my whole job is to feel,” he revealed.
Supa Mega further advised people battling depression like him .
“To anybody reading this, just hang in there, trust me.”
Early this year, AKA lost the love of his life, Nelli Anele Tembe, just while they were about tying the knot.
He had paid her lobola, after it was reported that the 21-year-old jumped from the top of a storey building where they lodged.
It was reported that the young lady battled mental health issues, but reports also made explicit the abuse in their relationship.
During investigation of Anele’s passing, Supa Mega stayed off the public eyes, but recently returned to the music business.
