Big Xhosa quits music
Controversial rapper Big Xhosa has announced that he is walking away from hip hop.
The My Ex hitmaker shared a video on TikTok explaining that he had a vision that completely changed his perspective on the music industry.
In the video, he revealed that an angel appeared to him and led him to a strange and unsettling place called “Kwakwam,” which he claimed is connected to the Illuminati.
“There’s a new journey I’m taking, and I was shown a vision,” Big Xhosa said.
“The angel took me to a place called Kwakwam, which is a department of the Illuminati. I’m even shaking a little bit talking about it.”
He went on to describe what he saw there, including prominent South African artists in unrecognizable forms.
One of them, he said, was Cassper Nyovest.
“I saw someone sitting on the throne, it’s Cassper, and he has this shiny beard. As I get closer, I see that the beard has turned into snakes. In Kwakwam, Cassper’s name is Ginon,” he claimed.
Big Xhosa also said he encountered another artist known as Usimamane, who allegedly told him not to use that name anymore.
“Someone touched me and asked, ‘Why are you here?’ I turned around and saw Usimamane. I said his name, and he responded, ‘No, no! Do not call me Usimamane. My real name in Kwakwam is uSatan.’”
Social media users were left stunned by the rapper’s claims, with some accusing him of chasing attention, while others jokingly suggested he might have been hallucinating.
A few, however, said the story sounded too specific to dismiss outright.
