Nigerian award-winning superstar Burna Boy paid tribute to the late South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes on his 38th birthday.
In a heartfelt message shared on his Instagram stories, Burna Boy reflected on their past disagreements, revealing that they had resolved their feud before AKA’s tragic passing.
“We fell out over bullshit even though we squashed it over Twitter DMs. Nobody knew about it, we never got the chance to really link up and do what we were supposed to do. I will regret that till I see you again. Until then, RIP Mega,” Burna Boy wrote.
AKA was shot dead in front of a restaurant in Durban in February 2023.
