DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small’s relationship has made headline countless times, and it’s attracted controversy.
Speaking in a recent interview this month, Lawd Phori spilled out why he chose working with the Amapiano King.
Maphorisa said the first time he encountered Kabza, his mind got blown, which introduced him to his mixes.
Phori said after listening to his mixes, he then worked with him and became friends. He also said that he learnt a lot from Kabza.
Over the years, some South Africans believe DJ Maphorisa depends on Kabza’s talent for survival. Some persons even said he just wants to use and dump the Piano King.
However, from the interview, it appears that the Scorpion Kings learn from each other.
