Amapiano king, Kabza De Small wins over Black Coffee at this year’s Sunday Times Gen Next Awards.
The music producer won the Coolest Local DJ at the 16th edition of the awards, which holds annually.
The international acclaimed DJ scooped the crown for several years, but Kabza got the people’s vote this time around.
The event was hosted virtually by Maps Maponyane on Friday night, August 21.

It’s no doubt that South Africans voted the Amapiano hitmaker, as he’s captivated lots of hearts this year with his hit songs.
The star dropped a 27-track album which topped various music charts. His performances on virtual events, such as Lockdown House Party on Channel O, also blew minds.
Kabza’s captivating skills got him taking over Amapiano genre and attracted more people to his works.
