South African celebrities have taken to various social media platforms to mourn AKA whose real name is Kiernan Forbes.
The rapper was pronounced dead on Friday night after being shot and killed in Durband.
The news came as a shock to many who found his death unbelievable despite an official statement from his parents.
Friends, fans, colleagues, and business partners from different parts of the world have taken to social media to pay tribute to Kiernan.
“I had so much love and respect for you, the way you loved your craft was so inspiring to me. when you went on stage I went to the front of the stage and became a fan and sang the lyrics like any fan would. I’m hurt. RIP SUPER MEGA,” Donald wrote.
