South African former Hip Hop artist, Reason, believes Amapiano is the best for him right now. The Hip Hop artist has been in the Hip Hop game for more than 15 years and has made his name and trademark to some levels.
Reason changed his stage name to Sizwe Alakine when he decided to sample the Amapiano genre. He believes other genres need new energy to occupy them to test their diversity.
He has worked with artists like DJ Maphorisa, Mellow, Sleazy, Young Stunna, and a few more Amapiano producers in the industry. Sizwe Alakine is of the opinion that people love him for the new energy he’s bringing to Amapiano now.
In proving his point, he also compared the occurrence to Big Zulu changing his game and having a bigger fan base than before.
Other artists who are currently enjoying the wave of Amapiano now are artists like Cassper Nyovest, Blxckie, Major League DJz, and a few more artists.
Genres need new energy right now fam. Much as I been in the game 15 years, people love Alakine for bringing a new energy to piano.
