“Dark Side EP” by Aquadeep & Veesoul is a five-track Deep House project that explores the darker, deeper and more atmospheric side of South African house music. Across its roughly 30-minute runtime, the duo create a cohesive sound built around groove, mood and spacious electronic textures.
Veesoul and Aquadeep recently appeared on Mastermind.
The EP features “Indigo (Tech Mix),” “Music Can Save Us,” “Salute (Ed-Ward),” “Thursday Night” and “War Zone.” The production moves through deep basslines, steady four-on-the-floor rhythms, subtle percussion and hypnotic melodic elements, with tempos sitting around 115–116 BPM. The arrangements give each track plenty of room to breathe, making the project particularly suited to extended DJ mixing and immersive listening.
Overall, “Dark Side EP” is a refined and atmospheric Deep House release that balances darker textures with Aquadeep and Veesoul’s soulful sense of groove. It works naturally for late-night sessions, deep-house playlists, intimate lounges, sunset listening and extended underground DJ sets.
