“Ekhaya” by Kaylow featuring Merlzar, Chymamusique, Lulo Cafe & Dustinho is a soulful South African House collaboration that brings together some of the scene’s strongest melodic and production voices. Kaylow’s rich, emotive vocal style gives the track a warm centre, while the collective production creates a deep and polished atmosphere.
The Bless, Chymamusique and Nvcho recently appeared on Phola Nami.
The track unfolds across an extended arrangement, blending soulful vocals with deep bass, subtle percussion, warm keys and spacious electronic textures. The combination of Chymamusique, Lulo Cafe, Dustinho and Merlzar gives the production a refined, layered quality, allowing the groove to develop patiently while keeping Kaylow’s vocals at the forefront.
Overall, “Ekhaya” is a warm, sophisticated and deeply soulful House record that feels both intimate and expansive—well suited to sunset sessions, relaxed listening, late-night playlists and deeper South African House sets.
