“Bade Lam” by Mr Maker, Nobuhle, Smash SA & DJ Stokie featuring MusicHlonza is a soulful Amapiano collaboration that brings together a strong mix of South African vocal and production talent. Nobuhle’s expressive vocals give the track an emotional centre, while the combined production presence of Mr Maker, Smash SA and DJ Stokie keeps the record firmly rooted in contemporary Amapiano.
Mr Maker, Tycoon and Kelvin Momo recently appeared on Ex Yakho.
The track unfolds through deep bass, rolling percussion, melodic piano textures and a steady groove, with the extended arrangement allowing the different elements to develop naturally. MusicHlonza adds another layer to the vocal performance, giving the collaboration a fuller and more dynamic character while maintaining its soulful edge.
Overall, “Bade Lam” is a warm and melodic Amapiano cut that balances soulful vocals with a deep, danceable groove—well suited to relaxed listening, social gatherings, late-night playlists and deeper Amapiano sets.
