“Deep Pulses” by Roque is a four-track House EP that explores a deep, polished and atmospheric side of the South African producer’s sound. The project brings together Roque’s signature groove-focused approach with additional contributions from MDU aka TRP and Nontu X, creating a cohesive blend of deep and soulful House textures.
Roque recently appeared on Rekere.
The EP opens with “Jazz Blower”, a collaboration with MDU aka TRP, before moving through “Hi ’n Hi” and “Think about you.” The closing track, “Would be so happy,” features Nontu X in Mel Muziq’s Re-Arranged Mix. Across the project, deep bass, subtle percussion, warm melodic layers and spacious electronic textures give the music a smooth, immersive quality, with tempos sitting around the 113–116 BPM range.
Overall, “Deep Pulses” is a refined and immersive House EP that balances deep grooves with soulful and melodic production—well suited to late-night listening, sunset sessions, long drives and sophisticated DJ sets.
