Jub Jub, real name Molemo Maarohanye speaks about the rape and assault case opened against him in court.
On August 24, the rapper appeared in the Johannesburg magistrate’s court, facing 13 charges including multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and several counts of kidnapping.
It was revealed that his ex-girlfriend, Amanda du-Pont was the one who opened the case.
Jub was granted bail and the case was postponed to November.
Speaking to Unfollowed host, the Uyajola 9/9 says he doesn’t wish to comment about the allegations.
However, he wouldn’t snub or act unbothered if his sisters go through such an assault.
“Everybody is entitled to do whatever that they want to do. In regards to that matter, I would rather not talk on it. I know who I am. I know what I stand for. I’ve got three beautiful sisters that I know for one, if anybody laid a hand on them, trust me, I would not wait for the justice system,” he said.
