Spotify has released various lists summing up how people streamed their faves this year.
The streaming platform revealed the 5 top South Africa artists, and Kabza De Small remains at the top again.
The King of Amapiano has been at the top for years and he’s not backing down anytime soon.
Asides Kabza, other artists on the list are Kelvin Momo, DJ Maphorisa, Sjava, Mellow & Sleazy.
With this list, it’s safe to say that Amapiano is the most streamed musical genre in South Africa.
The list has sparked mixed reactions, with many congratulating the artists, while others questioned the omission of a few other artists on the list.
