Lady Du announces she will be taking time off music and most especially shows till she heals from the pain caused by the death of her Amapiano brothers, Mpura and Killer Kau who died in a fatal car accident on Monday.
The singer has been publicly mourning the passing of the musicians with videos, photos and screenshots of her last chat with them.
Lady Du is still shocked by their death, but went to a show on Monday evening to perform.
However, it didn’t end well, as she could not give her fans a good show.
Taking to Twitter, she apologised and said she’s taking a break.
“To the fans that saw me pass out last night, I apologise, I tried soooo hard to be strong, I tried to keep it together. I thought I’d be able to handle that last gig, But I broke down, I don’t know how I’ll ever perform msebenzi wethu. I’m taking some time off! Thank you,” she said.
