Sjava opens up on the struggles he’s experiencing as an artist since the country returned to Level 3 Lockdown.
These sufferings has pushed him back to his mother’s house in KwaZulu-Natal.
According to Zalebs, the singer couldn’t withstand the suffering, as he no longer makes money.
“We are not getting paid, we can’t work … so this is a very difficult time for artists right now. Truly speaking, we don’t know what we’re going to do now – our things have stopped.
“I’m even back home because I can’t make money. We’ve been suffering, we’re from the bottom – the ghetto – I’m sure we’ll survive.”
However, it was recently reported that the singer bagged an acting role on eHostela.
Sjava isn’t the only artists who is trying to survive, as Zodwa Wabantu and DJ Tira immediately opened chicken business when the country went back to Level 3.
