Durban artists have flooded streets to protest in favour of the entertainment industry.
DJ Tira was also spotted in the crowd dressed in all black with placards revealing hashtags, “Vula President” and “70% Capacity in all event”.
The purpose of the protest is for the government to adjust the lockdown level 2 rules, especially on events and gatherings.
It’s been reported that these artists have blocked off the N3 Highway near the Spaghetti Junction in Durban.
The hashtag is now a major trend on social media, and some non-Durban artists have also shown their support on the socials.
These artists want a minimum of 70 percent capacity at live gigs.
Photos and reactions flood Twitter.
