House remains the biggest music genre in South Africa despite the influx of Gqom. Most records on this list crossed over 1million in views.

Prince Kaybee held the number 1 and 2 spot, deservedly as he did bless the streets with anthems this calendar year.

Prince Kaybee – Banomoya ft. Busiswa. 

Prince Kaybee introduced Banomoya to the nation in a mixtape titled 2018 Ultimate MixTape. Many demanded Prince Kaybee released the tune immediately and he did just that. Banamoya which features Busiswa just crossed 5million views on YouTube, in 2 months

Prince Kaybee & LaSoulmates – Club Controller ft. Zanda Zakuza & TNS.

Club Controller is nominated for Song Of The Year and there’s a big chance it comes out on top. The instant hit performed by music producer Prince Kaybee and TNS is such a huge song that it’s a club hit in other African countries.

Sun-El Musician – Bamthatile ft. Mlindo The Vocalist

Bamthatile is one of our favourite releases this year. The joint record from by music producer Sun-El Musician and breakout star Mlindo The Vocalist dropped at the right time this year.

Master KG – Skeleton Move ft. Zanda Zakuza

Skeleton Move is another South African record that was able to cross borders. Skeleton Move gets heavy radio rotations in other African countries especially Nigeria and Ghana.

Music producer Master KG of Open Mic Production relied on the vocals of his frequent collaborator and label mate Zanda to score this hit.

Lady Zamar – Collide

Collide was accepted by house listeners immediately Lady Zamar promoted it as a single off her debut studio album King Zamar, an album that has proven to have a very long life span.
